Five Haiku

by ayaz daryl nielsen

myriad worlds

this dissolving earth
the myriad worlds we’ll seek
and also ruin

matriarchs

civilized planets
sacred presence in them all
gray-haired matriarchs

within

our old ones don’t die
passing through other spaces
their genes within us

and quite beautiful

distant space station
these lady ambassadors
from a nearby moon
in formal attire
golden bells on
their silver horns

blue antenna

my blue antenna,
waving ‘I care”, and! your blue
antenna waves back!
