Aliens Are Not Afraid Of

by Les Merton

things that go bump in the night,
thunder and lightning,

spiders, mice,
low flying bats,

breaking promises
telling lies,

getting lost,
missing appointments,

heights,
sleeping on the sea bed,

being buried alive,
the dentist,

radiation
or extinction

and last but by no means least
aliens are not afraid of
the unknown.
