 Steelhand Blues Cruising

Deep-six the last train
to Mars
and go home
because nothing is new here
except birth
and
destiny.

The lynx returns by midnight,
its slithering tongue a six-pack
of colored stones, diamonds, carnage, etc.

Everything here has nothing to do
with the smell of dogs.

We drive by midnight and crash
course our way to hell.

We are sad.
We are cool.
We are dead.

Welcome to our world.
