Truck

by Denny E. Marshall

Two aliens who have recently moved into the neighborhood are sitting on their front porch. Their neighbors have no idea they’re aliens and are wearing disguises.

An hour later the aliens are still sitting on the porch. The sun has set and they’re enjoying the cool night air, when a moving light approaches.

The light is a large four by four truck. It drives by the alien’s house totally engulfed in flames and keeps on going.

One of the aliens looks at the other alien and says, “That must be one of those fire trucks I’ve heard so much about.”
