Orbital Motion

by Kenneth Vincent Walker

It's no wonder why
Time flies by day by
Day so effortlessly;

You see, our world
Revolves close to a
Thousand miles per

Hour and we feel it
Not 'cause of gravity
Which keeps us in

Place, or otherwise
We'd be catapulted
Into space, or at the

Very least we'd feel
The orbital motion;
A notion that I find

Rather nauseating.
