Hate Continues

by Jeanne G’Fellers-Walker

With knife
With blade
With screaming rage
We’ve come onto this course.

You win
We lose
Then turn centrifuge
The process reconvenes

Take yours
For mine
In dangerous times
It will be mine again

Your father
My mother
Take strangers, our brothers
Cause they were taught to hate

From Earth
Then out
Without nary a doubt
The process will repeat

Star spread
New ground
Won’t be ours if we’re bound
By that which is in the past

Star Trek’s humanity one is a lie
