The Bad Seed by Ed Sullivan

I liked the characters in this story... they are well developed and I thought Ed got some good mileage out of his use of stereotypes. I thought there was some humor in the evil guy's despicableness and the whole setup of the evil family trapped in their evil role.

There are some hints of Lovecraft, which I liked, and some surprises with how everything is resolved.

Thanks. This was one of my two comeback pieces from when I started writing again.
Remember: when people tell you something’s wrong or doesn’t work for them, they are almost always right. When they tell you exactly what they think is wrong and how to fix it, they are almost always wrong. – Neil Gaiman
