Congrats, Eddie!

My apologies; I didn't make any notes this time. However, when I first read the prompt, I couldn't figure out how a story could be written about such an esoteric and obscure event. O me of little imagination!

I voted for "The Lost Traveller", but it was a close choice between that and "Beltane Traditions."
I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?

Woah. Was this the first, first place, Eddie? I remember at one point you were concerned about that but maybe that was a long time ago and I just zoned about it.

Regardless, congratulations. Seriously. If it is that elusive first, doubly so.

Congrats Eddie! It was an unusual topic, but I know I learned something about a British Isles tradition.
It was clever the way the magician would always be trapped because his nemesis/companion was immortal. Very clever indeed.
My vote went to Jon True because of its soulful longing for a home that he was separated from by time.
I thought Sergio's story of the cattle-herder was a little disjointed because of the alien's presence, but I could understand completely why the UFO travelers might believe the old man's life was barely worth extending, even for a few months. The final scene that would eventually play out, with the herder and the cattle being together aboard ship, is creepy indeed.
I wanted to build a world with my entry - something unusual and unexpected. I'll get the first place trophy next time. Thanks, Bottomdweller
