Huddy's Eats by Peter Cushnie

Very good descriptions; well balanced between interior (Huddy's thoughts) and exterior (Huddy's surroundings).
Made me wonder: What does Huddy eat?

Re: Huddy's Eats by Peter Cushnie

What does he eat? I had the same question, along with, what does he drink, since it's pretty plain he has no running water either. I also wondered how he even got there, though that isn't as prickly a question as that of what he lives on.

This seems sort of like a mashup of "Groundhog Day" and some old "Twilight Zone" episode.

No plot. No character arc or conflict to speak of. Great setting detail and description. It should be a total snooze, and yet it's a little bit compelling.

Check it out.
I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?
