DO NOT READ by J E DEEGAN

Not bad, I usually try to figure something of the twist or plot from the first paragraph or two, and I did in this one, not on the mark but close enough. The book part was good, that I didn't get.

I almost missed the point of this story too - but in a way it's "slightly unfair" in that the ending was too fast. (If I am not confusing this) Anna and/or her Lawyer planned the demise of both of them, but it's not clear enough where the transitions are.

Once past the "Alice Woke Up" ending though, it's a delightfully creepy concept.

Great deal of fun -- the characterization of the old woman was terrific, and I loved the dialog. I just wish people would quit having thunderstorms whenever something creepy is happening. Wouldn't a perfect spring day be more of a contrast?

Pretty good, though; inexplicable, but a lot of fun to read.
I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?
