Congratulations Michele Dutcher on your brillant sci-fi tale which takes place inside a casino. Once again your masterful use of the whimsical, Bewildering and the weird has led to a triumph in wascally witing. Great job! Please write more Amazing stories for the sake of all dudes and dudettes galaxywide!

Wow! Apparently Michele has been taking the correspondence course from the Charlie Sheen School of Bi-winnerism! Then again, I'm not sure what 'witing' is. Something to do with cosmetic dentistry?

The clue is the word right before it: wascally. Vague reference to archaic cartoon chartoon character who played nemisis to THE wascally wabbit who wouldn't write, rather he would wite wascally whimsical tales of the weird and wonderful (as does Michele Dutcher).

Great story, great setting. A nice use of facts associated with aliens and UFOs. I liked the story; it was entertaining from start to finish, and character development excellent----all characters came alive to me as I read.

I really can’t nit-pick with any parts of the story, and I can’t see how any changes would improve it. She balances out all the techniques needed in story telling, and that is an art in itself. Nice sentence structure, varied sentence lengths, good word choices, and believable dialogue.

Good one!!!

Only two questions: How much did the aliens win at the casino? And what game do they like?

They would be playing 'ALIEN' - where the bonus game is walking into a roomful of pods, you get to choose them (credits come out) until one opens up and a baby Alien pops out.
How much did they win? - come on now, even I can't go that far out, and I write fiction.

For Bottomdweller:

Great story! :D The idea is really good, I liked it and the whole tale indeed...aliens in disguise...or better, forcing the others to look at them as animals or whastsover harmless around the Casino...all that was smart!!!Moreover, with compliments for your many stories online this month...eh,eh :D

Thanks for the high praise, but honestly, is noone going to say anything about the footnotes at the bottom of the story?

The question isn't if we believe that aliens exist, but whether the aliens believe that we are worth existing...eh,eh

You really want me to say something about it, Michele?

Somehow, I think not. But since you asked. . .

I'm not sure these things didn't happen, but when you say "Actual Event," it means it actually happened. Possibly what you meant to say was 'Based on an actual claim.'

I'm afraid that the little grey guys are going to have to walk-up, introduce themselves and then bite me on the patootie before I give such claims much credence. I liked the story much better as fiction. Your end notes turned the story into something else, entirely.

Dearest Bill_Wolfe, THAT's what makes it so much fun! - It's the X-files meets the Blair Witch Project. I love it!

Lester,

The down side of an alien invasion is that being from a completely different evolutionary line, the chances are that no matter what. . .

We can't eat 'em.

Pity, really. I bet they don't taste like chicken.

If they can breathe our air, there's a good chance we could eat 'em . . . even if they're toxic, we could let the Japanese sushi chefs have a go at it -- they figured out how to handle fugu, after all . . .
