Q & A by Brian Rowe

This is a simple piece, but a nice distraction - as are most of the B movies this story is based upon. I don't watch slasher films, but, to each his own. Live by the chainsaw, die by...well, you know. My only small tiff with this story was the director "signing his name in the center of the chainsaw blade," when clearly the blade would have had another kind of, well, oily substance on it, perventing the said marker ink from sticking.
At least I understood this one, unlike the one this month about the comet mountain that I thought was like an incredible journey thing, but then I wasn't sure about it because I could stand all the slime, more slime than a half-hour show on Nickolodean. Gross!
I have a friend who goes to see old slasher films at the drive-in (yes, Louisville still has one) and they'll have some of the original cast members at the refreshment stand (let's all go to the snack bar) signing small movie 'posters'. It's fun - and this story is the same kind of campy fun. Why not?
Since the house is on fire - at least let us warm ourselves.
