Cool horrorku!

This one makes me think of the effects they would use on the tv documentary A Haunting. In the dramatic re-enactments of supposedly true paranormal events, whenever they would want to depict someone as being possessed by evil spirits, they would make the person's eyes go black like deep, inky pools. If eyes are truly windows into the soul, then eyes like that are portals into the infernal abyss. Who know what beasts may dwell in the endless shadows of those black pits?

I liked this one as well. I was surprised that this month's stories/ poems had the look into my eyes thing with Monster and Lester Curtis's A Lifetime of Memories. Even over in the Fun and Games section (with the May Poll for Flash Fiction) there were Alien Monsters all over the place. Very much fun. Monsters in May = Mayhem! Ahhhh!
Since the house is on fire - at least let us warm ourselves.

Monsters make interesting employers. At least you know where they stand. It's the twinke-eyed Mephistophelean Faust types I am scared of.
