A well-written, well-developed piece. I recommend people take the time to read this.

I do have one issue to raise:

SPOILER ALERT:

I get the rationale behind Peterson's decision to hire criminals, however, he seemed to have hired at best sociopaths. I would think a better choice would've been white-collar criminals, or otherwise offenders who made one-time mistakes, albeit big ones, and who would be more vulnerable to Peterson's leverage against them.

Just a morsel. Sorry there wasn't more. Your work is worthy of more attention.

An innovative and intriguing take on interactions with other intelligences as well as the consequence of human loneliness and isolation. Lots of fun. Very well written. Hope to see more.

The Dolphin of Europa

An intriguing, fast-paced story. The setting is eery, which strengthens the pyschological thriller aspect of this story. And the ending? Not what I was expecting.
A worthwhile read, and I'd like to see more on these characters and their world.
