GOD's Website By Lee Gimenez

My, that is a strange situation. Someone pretending to be God on a website in order to gain money - well, it's very believable, people have done a lot of things for money, but mixing it in with tax evasion was really not a smart move.

And letting the mask slip occasionally didn't help, either.

Certainly a very entertaining story.

I agree, it was a lot of fun... I'm impressed that the 'god' managed to keep it up for so long!
Reminded me a bit of the Wizard of Oz... when Dorothy and the crew get there and they see him as huge and threatening... only to find the real him behind a curtain, creating the projection. Only in that case, he was still the wizard...

Strangely enough, I can see this happening. People can be really dumb.

Nice story, although it was pretty evident [and on purpose, I think] that this was a fraud.

the premise was good and i was thoroughly entertained until the very ending...at which point the story just turned out to be too brief and the story all too small scale. of course the predicament was intened as goofy and pathetic, a guy impersonating God and another guy paying him to be forgiven, but still, it could have been a bit more supernatural - like an alien manipulating human faith or something.
