The Battle for Greystone Castle: Beanie and the Cops

Ah, I remember the "Beanie and the Floaters" prequel to this story. Very enjoyable, and I must say I found Beanie's defenses to be both believable and very well described; though I'm surprised that the cops didn't try to remove the barricades on the stairwells (which has got to be easier than climbing a lift shaft which has had all the easily climbable bits removed).

Still, a very enjoyable story.

I also enjoyed both the stories, and I love the methods Beanie uses to discourage the invaders, very original!

Post-apocalyptic "Home Alone"! Very enjoyable.
