December/January Flash Challenge

I'm going to leave this one open a bit longer than most, since many of us have a busy time in the next few weeks.

The theme this month shall be... (drumroll, please, maestro!)

The Trousers of Time!

The late great Sir Terry Pratchett described the parallel world or alternate universe theory in terms of a pair of trousers, and of being lost down the wrong leg.

Tell us a tale, in a thousand worlds or less, of a parallel world, another timeline, or a trip down the other leg of the trousers of time...

Send me your stories by pm before midnight(ish) on the twenty-first.
KNEEL before Zod!

Oh I could *certainly* do one of those. Getting it to fit the word limit ... mmm, not so easy. But at least I've got a story idea for a change.
I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?

I'll start working on something as soon as I'm back, next week, from a brief vacation in Sicily where I'll attend a scale model show...eh,eh :D

Grab something and hold on ...

I'm actually writing one!

Just don't know yet if I'm going to be able to get the whole story into the word limit. I'm compacting as I go. I'm years out of practice. We'll see.

Since the house is on fire - at least let us warm ourselves.
