Planning holidays in North America...2016...

After being back from Scotland, I'm just planning my next vacation to North America to be held in October, as usual...eh,eh...we should be in Canada at first, going around across the very cold North until 10th, and then in U.S.A. , in Baltimore on 11th...:D

Anyway, just in case, some members of Aphelion Forum ( or Aphelionites...eh,eh :D ) or from Quantum Muse Magazine will be interested at a meeting/lunch/diner in Baltimore, and with many beers, of course, on the date above indicated, just let me know,It would be really a pleasure to meet again some of you Aphelionites or even some new members of this Forum, indeed...eh,eh :D :D

Please, just send me details about the exact times and locations you prefer only via PM, as you know it's a wild world out there ...eh,eh

My granddaughter and I are totally going to be there. After meeting with Sergio on Tuesday, I will be meeting up with Richard Tornello on Wednesday. I know of one editor who has penciled in SSergio's dinner invitation in Baltimore.

So how'd it go? I've been waiting for the report. Post pics, please!

And, my apologies, I had an idea to have you folks call me from there ... oh well.

Anyway, I wanna know!

Re: Planning holidays in North America...2016...

Everything went very well there, Baltimore is a very beautiful town and there is a BIG Barnes and Nobles bookstore where I did spend many hours of course, as you can imagine...eh,eh :D

The town is also linked to E.A. Poe's strange death, and there is also his house there...by the way, as history recounts, strange is to think of the fact that he asked in the 1800s his friend Dickens to look for a publisher for his horror short-stories, but the British publishers didn't appreciate his works at that time...that's an incredible situation, as E.A. Poe became afterwards the most important American Horror/Mystery writer in history,..the same as Stephen King is now, undoubtedly...

Anyway, too busy now to post some photos, be patient please...Yesterday just a long week of scale modeling and games was over in Tuscany and I have just to rest...by the way, I also had some unbelievably good ideas for short-stories during my previous vacations in Scotland and in North America, and I mean truly good, but I still have to find time to write them down as drafts at least...eh,eh

Next year it's possible a common meeting in Minneapolis with John Rose and others (will you join us or is it too far from Cleveland...?), if I can get to U.S.A. in summer for the World Championship of Scale Models to be held in Chicago, after the previous contests held in Switzerland and Italy...I have just to find the time to complete an acceptable scale model that can compete there at that very high level, and it requires months, and so we'll see... :D :D

And then, after U.S.A., maybe a later travel to Canada after summer, as I used to do some years ago...but that also depends on the bad health of my mother and so nothing sure can be said so far...

Okay, good to know everything was enjoyable, as always, and of course you have more story ideas!

I believe I can get to Minneapolis. I have a good friend there I'd like to visit, too. Meanwhile, I'll wait to hear more.

I had a great time meeting up with Sergio and talking with the editor of Quantum Muse. I also enjoyed visiting Washington DC.
