Jolted Exotica

Thought of moist loin and then lingered on a picture of potato's
This lead to visions of breasts

Titillation of conflicting thoughts
which then popped up chips
salted sweat
moaning passions
slivers of ice
chocolate and strawberries

And than from that to this, from the roof falls the sound of
orgasmic music

though, to be fair, turns out the water was hot, the soap slippery
and thoughts turned to words
such the fertile inspiration.

"And I swam with the dolphins!"

You sure did parasite, and you thought is was tuna...

Inspired by watching little kids at the pool today

She smiled immediately, seeing past the monster in me
Wearing purple floaties and dipping her toes, until, called back inside for something interesting

Out they came, one after the other
A party with pizza and overweight mothers
An army of wee folk
Into the water, they came

The common call heard, was "mommy"
"mommy, look at me!"

But back to the two-year old named Amy
She wore purple floaties and leaped from cold to hot to cold
and she still
smiled at me
and so with a hello, a smile in return,
i complimented the little mermaid seeing her glow inside knowing she would grow fast and old
taking on the entire world
her purple floaties replaced with smiles, hard work, and a wonderful family.

Mathematical derivatives

Complex impounds

And, then, the curve of a rainbow, is that all there is?

Of course not as it is.

Today, the impossible exploded for all to see and yet only a few saw and even less, knew. A rainbow 'exploded' over everyone's head with such vibrant colors it only confused.

A small town called, Lewiston.
A cloudy riddled sky.
A moment of perfection
of mathematical derivatives
complex impounds compounding the water dancing,
and this is
it is...

It is another example of the playground for another thing of beauty
like it is.

Musik iz da best! Indeed...

Hello! (from the other side) as Adele dares tell.

Do i care?

Never be royal as it runs in the blood. Craving a different kind of buzzz.

Lets live that fantasy.

"Are you stoned again shithead?"

Nope. I am a stone parasite. Solid granite and marble full and through. And stubborn as nothing ever seen since before or after. Of course, all very inspirational. Especially today.

"What are you babbling about now?"

Nothing you could ever, ever, ever, understand.

Another day with timing of something of course
Swimming by with the blur of tail going against the current and with...
all a blur
of course

A meal served in course
7 course
6 course
5 course
4 course
3 course
2 course
leaving a snack to munch

Kaleidoscope of history so jumbled as if one second came before
only to learn it was so long ago
but vivid?
Shit! (again...)
It never begins and it never ends

This is
again, and again, and again, and again...

So, hello from the other side
to travel the rivers of time
like riding up and down in an elevator
and snacking at the buffet.

Crazy moments are good moments for writers. Crazy is just plain good. Normal is just a measurement of collective sub-par and boredom.

Lately those rattlesnakes are driving me nuts. They are in and on my vehicles, I step over them, they look at me on top of the freezer and they just won't SHUT up.

In case you did not know, snakes talk a lot. Usually later in the Summer but this year? Shit, almost enough to buy ear muffs.

What they talk about is mostly simple on the surface but get inside the flickering tongue? Wow...

So, I talked to one about how some love to have power over others. She laughed and said I was basically an idiot for trying to think there is any possibility of even trying to understand human beings love of 'power'. I told her she was correct and then complimented her healthy look after having such a bountiful buffet of mice.

I left her shaking her head and moving off to find a nice spot of gravel not too cold nor too hot.

All a bit crazy but inspirational anyway.

In a World where everything of things seen and unseen, matter
Either to swim, slither, slide, fly, glide, run, walk, wiggle; it all

So easy to get caught up in the affairs of those who in only a few hundred years
are never remembered
nor are their ambitions

even Actions
A comedy bordering on humor, or, tragedy,
and yet, in a small way,
they too

Better to sit and breath
Smell the air pungent with experience and deed
Taste the sweetness of food and drink
Feel the World of speech and silence
and in this
it is
listening to a World trying to grow in a way it thinks it matters
while listening to a World so old, so very ancient that speaks of such matters.

Written by: Filaments of a Dream

Scales scattered in the birth of Suns
With fangs buried deep in the Left Leg of God
Twisting energy

Chains binding the tail, held in Hand by the Right Hand of God
Upon the flesh burnt runes of Law
A gift from the Broadside of Blade

This humble view of what really matters.
Bringing ready, for the coming moment
of Battle.

Part Two:

Golden glow the mane of assassination
bringing down a Lion vetted by

Hollow core grasped by claw entwined, harder than diamond
longer than a Comets life
bringing sem-balance

Oh, but the roar, can you now
hear it?
Bellowed winds of flame to score the Ox, the Goat,
even the Moon

Maidens wail, their hair shorn
Young men perspire while their bones bleach white
Old regret past smiles

This humble view of what really matters.
Bringing ready, for the coming moment
of Battle.

The Third of Such

Whispers for a latch holding no hole for the key
Cavern where lungs belch the fire held Winds
the brother

Heavens Oceans hold sway this rivalry, sadly they agree
Released as if there could be

Leading paths complete
only now
no humility, no emotions, only the roar of Wind driven fire meeting Vespers
bottomless abyss of what is

View pure of clarity bedazzled light so intense
and thus
where siblings meet, unable to taste or feel death
but knowing
ever knowing above/beneath the Waves
riding Winged currents to obey and disobey and follow what is, fully intent...
Pray now, as it is, its is,
such a Battle, not even God
can intervene.

Glass white with frost, tempting a warm finger
Reaching out of a mitten to announce
a squiggle, a scratch, embracing a white chance

Is it a face? Maybe a fish? A word? Tree?
It is
It is what a young mind believes

And then, only warmed up in expression
to reach forward and melt the frost with breath
watching the white turn to water only to soon freeze...

Then the attention turns inward to thoughts of school
of third grade
and friends.

reminds me of the word, funky.

Speaking of funky, Iran steals a oil tanker. Iran would have been better off shoplifting women's clothing in Walmart.

Inspiring though, the picture of mini-mushroom clouds billowing in the air.

One action and then another
another brings action
Will Trump spank Iran?

Fist cuffs and settling in the dust
dust of a glowing nature

It is a loud and messy world
thank goodness sound does not carry in space.

Happiness for a writer...

now that is...

Group think of mental renditions: I'm gay! I'm transgender! I'm black! I'm Mexican! I'm a member of the KKK!
Raise a flag, write a poem, break some glass, protest, become fucking enraged!

Boy scouts used to start fires with a stick, now they learn how to braid hair... Lets write about it!

Oops, he busted a nut while we were drunk. I'm too young and busy for a child, yep, its the abortion clinic for me!

"Lost, in the subway, a cat named Mike. Mean son-of-bitch, but he tolerates me. Call 555-404-1237 if you see him."

Guns are wild. They kill. I know, lets get together and ban coal! Nukes are out! Having a vagina and penis at the same time, RULES! Whoo hoo!

(All horseshit bits of muse when really a writer should feel what others could never imagine. They should write of what is and cannot be seen by readers or the masses of temporary feelings, emotions, situations, and FAR from the control of the strings)

To become a bit of fiberglass in a 12,000 gallon tank. One in the same to 'feel' the heartbeat buried in earth while
rats play.

To fly on the back of a flea attached to nape of an osprey while it dives deep

only to then become the fish torn to pieces by the beak.

Having a conversation with the breeze

Play music with an asteroid

Feel the fall of Rome while cascading in springs

Make war as to be a bullet piercing flesh and then preside at the burial as a bit of sunlight

There are no boundaries, no walls, nothing that cannot be a part

of me,

only the caution stabilized with pausing to put such into words

otherwise, so very easy to disappear

the Dream.

Misplaced happenstance
but man, oh man, let it go!

For many writers I'm positive the seasons greatly influence them. Fall, the time of change and color. Winter, the time of coldness and warmth. Spring, the time of birth and greenery. And one of the best, Summer, the time of light and adventure.

Living next to a large river has its advantages, one being, to float down the current in a boat or just the body; current carrying everything along slowly with the aid of gravity.

Soon, to float with large black inner tubes on a hot, sunny day, without a care in the world. Splashing and enjoying the day.

Of course, just the anticipation is inspirational

As a child there was that first moment of riding a tube
Patched from past farm use and now put to rest in the hands of youth.

It was a large one with orange patches looking like stars
Once a part of hauling grain down a gravel road.

Cumbersome, true
Blacker than tar and in the sun, just as hot
put into a lake? How cool!

thoughts of school forgotten, thoughts of bullies forgotten, thoughts of everything forgotten
except for food...

Damn, those were the good days
a time for most now, forgotten
as the tube has been replaced with computers, video games, television, social media
and yes, bullies, and school...

About time now to break in a new tube, one made for the road but destined for floating
where once again, thoughts of life forgotten, thoughts of bullies forgotten, thoughts of everything forgotten
except for food...

When a person hears the name of an author, Edgar Allen Poe, for example. Most likely they will recognize that name. The same could be true regarding names of authors such as, Hitler, Mao, Freud, Asimov.

Now, flash forward to today. What authors of modern times stand out from the rest? Maybe you could say King and his horror novels, but he has been around since before computers.

Actually, in the current moment, the world is saturated with authors. Not bad since everyone is a poet and most are writers of one degree or another. Social media counts as that is writing.

Interesting to see how much information is floating around out there in print and yet so few recognized authors. Reminds me of the Borg on Star Trek. Massive intellect and collective thoughts.

"You're a fucking fruitcake. For gods sake...shut up!"

Not a bad idea parasite. Say, did you find those hidden Lays potato chips in the kitchen?

(the parasite did not reply but instead immediately oozed over to feast. hopefully not leaving nothing but crushed crumbs of the delectable treats)

All In A Name

Are you King of Jews?
"You say I am."

Do you know who I am?
"Yeah, the woman who is getting a speeding ticket for driving 75 in a 65."

Name, rank, and serial number
A POW's rule of response

I am hungry
"Here ya go Bud," handing over a meal

Vote for Trump in 2020
Vote for Bernie now
Vote for: Mickey Mouse

And on and on and on...
Names everywhere you are for everything around

It is somehow a nice feeling to hear a name
if anything to give meaning to the sound.

Thousands of years ago, some guys and gals (oops, there also might have been some pan genders or trans, or homo, or gay or... but gonna keep it simple and stay with guys and gals.)

Anyway, thousands of years ago, some people painted cave walls. This was an early form of writing and it's amazing that some of them are as clear as the day they were painted.

This is true for literature of the past couple thousand of years. The words remain exactly the same as they day they were written. Time really is irrelevant.

Last night the travel spanned ten years. Thankfully morning came otherwise i would have just continued, but none-the-less, all very inspirational.

Time Travel

Watching an old cinematic bit of footage
Spanning so many years
Seeing the actors still acting
as they day they performed.

Sawing a tree in half and counting the rings
Seeing the layers of cambium reveal
the bad
and the good times.

Seeing a rock form, solidify and then dissolve
Even a diamonds sparkle
tastes the ticking of time.

The mind though...
Such to travel
Always fresh and old
Always old and fresh
Thank God
for such a vehicle this
called time.

Ah yes! Nothing better on a hot day of work than to have a large plastic cup filled with crushed ice, water, and fruit syrup. Inspirational to write about, but with a twist...

What would William Shakespeare write about it if he got to drink crushes ice, water, and fruit syrup out of a large plastic cup.

"You're retarded numbnuts..."

That's not very nice parasite. Haven't you heard that the word, retarded, is now a bad word to use?

"I don't give a shit. You're still retarded... numbnuts..."

Winters Nectar Embrace

Verily I say this frosted magic
Torn asunder from a season misplaced, such frosted pleasure
Simple yet such taste

Take from me the wasted sweat of forlorn labor; covered crust of dirt and way
Fallow fields holding dust
Air such hot play?

Nay, for the quench of the forgotten sated thirst
now frozen, and in clear soft warmth of clear
sucked this red proboscis as if the very air was in need

there inside where thoughts bleed, the piercing throb of pain
traveling from where nothing should be
could it be?
This bastard of combined desire to cool the flame, leaving with whimsical fancy
the oft heard phrase: Brain freeze.

I have a ball on this website. For me, Aphelion has been a perfect outlet for my writing addiction. Plus, this is the first site I've found that lets one be creative.

There once was some site I played with but with the exception of having better tools to dabble with and the ability to submit pictures but Aphelion totally kicks their ass. Also, the 'other' (some poetry site for elitists) became one of those financial gain sites. The guy running it was in it for the sex and money. And he had his groupies for sure.

Which leads to today's inspiration: Aphelion has no subscription fees, it allows active participation, and it has no advertising.

Alien Space Shampoo

Used by trillions of species across the galaxy
for only a limited time, you can receive the first batch absolutely FREE!
That's right...
Just shoot us a mindshot and a credit token for the continuing subscription.
You can cancel your future subscription at anytime.
Hurry, the offer ends soon.

disclaimer: The product advertised may cause body parts on some species to dissolve. Test with a small sample first. This product has not been given a trade name as past experience has shown names can cause wars among different species. For the Spragits, use of this product has been known to cause massive sexual explosions and almost causing them to overpopulate the sector 10 zone. Aphelion webzine gets a 3 credit kickback for allowing this ad. The ultimate goal of this product is to enslave everyone. It's really not true that you can cancel your future subsciption... once we have your credit tokens you'd have a better chance of getting shit done with the bureaucracy of the human species DMV than to get your money back. Have a nice day.

Met a man named Richard. Pleasant experience. He has potential.

Inspirational after being covered in concrete dust and the pull of the sea...

Watched the edge of the ocean fall peacefully, into a deep sleep
The waves, they had the slow motion rhythm of peace
while the gulls went silent and the sands stayed in place

Boats, their bows pointed to the harbor bringing in the catch of the day
Deckhands preparing lines
Captains looking forward to rest and pay

Slower now, and slower...
Lower, and lower, the day creeps away
and just at that moment when the warmth and light of the sun instantly fade...
i swear, watching it all
the Sun winked.

Four pillars so large, so magnificent; transcending horizons of reality above, below, between
and yet
so far from each other no one knows the others

Four pillars besides; inside held together with a web of lines; complex becoming simple

once cooling in the current

Must be the sunlight, or maybe global climate change... Maybe it's Iran or President Trump... Probably the main reason though, is humans are mostly bat shit crazy.

Lawsuits, mass killings, tofu... all highly inspirational and worth writing about.

The little ship chugged along through the galaxy piloted by a little fella named Zort. Now Zort was a bit of an odd creature; part of the Zortorian's. Zortorian's are an odd species that evolved and thrived on the consumption of mold spores.

Anyway, the little ship chugged along through the galaxy with Zort being consumed by himself... literally.

Zort's insides were starting to chew through his outsides. His mind was starting to fragment and he blamed his fellow species for all his troubles. Needless to say, he was starting into the weird world of psychosis.

It was not good how Zort was sliding down the slippery slope of delusions and definitely not good for Earth as Zort spied the water planet and formulated a quick plan. He would destroy it!

After the massive explosion, not one bit of it was heard in the vacuum of space. Zort sat there in his ship and smiled as nothing was left of the shit hole planet once called, Earth.

Later, on the intergalactic news, the announcer looking like a ripe tomato said, "And in further news, Zort, of the Zortorian's went off his rocker today and destroyed another planet. This incident is the fifth in a long line of rash explosions. Public sentiment shows that action should be taken to ban such planetary destruction as it litters the Universe with excess debris and is considered one of the major contributors towards intergalactic cosmic dust warming..."

"Can I blow up Earth? Can I! Please?"

No parasite, you cannot, you don't have any arms. But you can vote Democrat and achieve the same results.

"Vote Democrat? Really? Nah... That's too scary, even for me."

Thought so. Here, have a Pringle.
