You'll Die as Fish by Susan Anwin

Very creative, keeps your interest, and just the right length. A chilling idea... it could easily have been a lost episode of The Twilight Zone... with a lesson on showing respect for the unsung heroes of the working class! Mighty strange things can happen to those who think they're "better". Great job.

I agree; very creative; great length. The characterization of Megan is great. Is she crazy? Are there really scales? Her intensity and ego; and her eventual giving in to the curse. By the end, I felt like she didn't mind so much being covered with scales as she minded people pretending they couldn't see it. That's a nice bit of complexity and depth.
