A Long Distance Type o’ Guy by Florin Purluca

The writing was good and the intro did get my attention. To understand the story better, I stopped reading and read Mr. Purluca’s bio. A degree in Clinical Psychology and working in a psychiatric hospital would suggest that he would write stories with a ‘mental twist’ or psychological implication or even with Freudian concepts. This story suggests how an immortal might spend time with one of his loved ones.

I don’t believe that the protagonist was a vampire, but I can’t say that for sure. This was an interest read and one that’s hard to critique. The story stands for itself!’

Thank you for the time granted to read the story. Yes, he's not a vampire, is a immortal who wants to stay in some kind of social shadow. The idea came to me thinking: what if some immorals dont't need to be heroes, what if they just want a normal, simple life. Thanx again for the good words and sorry for my poor english language. :)

Nice story, and I picked up the subtle hints of his immortality as I read through. I enjoyed the imagery and the way you portrayed a long-term relationship by focusing on mundane little details.

Good job; thanks!
