Good science fiction of the old school. First rate.

Science fiction with a little 'Twilight Zone' in it. The author mixes some detective work, murder, a little heroism, and Sci-Fi all together, and the setting is a space ship returning to Earth after using it as a time capsule for its occupants. Some aboard it await a break through in medical science that will prolong their lives or find a cure for ailments they have.
Nice read with a interesting outcome.

Yep,
This is a straightforward Whodunnit in the tradition of the Mansion Party, but blended with a nice side line of the space immortality vs religion angle for the backbone of the killer's rationale.

I don't know enough about the genre to know whether it's better to leave clues for sharp readers, or have the ending come "blind". I certainly just went along "for the ride", and didn't see any reason to guess the astronomer.

It's interesting that the author has some experience as an officer and I think that shows up subtly in some of the precautions they try to take.
