This story has great characterization, excellent world creation, and lots of drama. On the other hand, the ending leaves one with the somewhat unsatisfactory feeling the story is only beginning.

Perhaps there is more to "The Apostle's Tale" to be written.

Sword and sorcery stories can be the platform for moral issues, ethics, honesty --just to name a few traits that often find themselves woven into many fictional tales. I never read sword and sorcery, but it is one to the best genre for creativity!

I find this story well written, entertaining and peopled with many characters.
Good job!
