MAVEN Haiku by Denny E. Marshall

Remember: when people tell you something’s wrong or doesn’t work for them, they are almost always right. When they tell you exactly what they think is wrong and how to fix it, they are almost always wrong. – Neil Gaiman

Re: MAVEN Haiku by Denny E. Marshall

Haikus are tricky for me because the brevity either works for me or it doesn't. This time it worked.

Surprisingly dense mood, coming from pulling in mention of the MAVEN expedition. The first four lines open up a typical yet "dull" domestic drama. "Lost at work... yeah, yeah." Typical snipey wife...

Then the last line uncorks "I work on Mars Rovers for NASA"!
