The Old Homestead by George T. Philibin

Very interesting concept. I could not help but think that it was going to end badly though. Perhaps I have a prejudice regarding the deuteragonist race and their capacity for playing nice. It made me wonder which was pleasant for me.

George, you have a human quality to all of your stories that I really like. You are great with story development and this story is no exception.
