down and Out on Orion by Richard tornello

There are so many authors who glorify Space...The Final Frontier...that it's fun to ease it back a little. This poem does that, telling us that no matter who you think you are - you won't get far - unless you EAT: read as the neon EAT sign by the roadside, whether at 4th and Broadway or a spaceport circling Bernard's 3. Nicely done.
Since the house is on fire - at least let us warm ourselves.
