Once you get past a couple of copy-edit glitches, this tale has a fascinating premise! You get a struggle between:

The Forecasters, who have a tech called Chrono Glass that can show the viewer the near future of whatever is viewed, coupled with training in Decision Sciences & related fields, so they can mentally parse alternate futures.

And

The Brotherhood of Time, who control Time Dragons which can go back in time and alter events.

There's a bit of a Fridge Logic element here:

These two sources have the potential to make for extremely complicated plot lines! Once a story allows those kinds of things to be "legit", the writer has to be extremely careful. Not only are formal logic mistakes at risk, but other aspects of the plot might simply cease to matter!

I really, really enjoyed this story.

It worked on several levels and seemed to convey a real sense of deeper involvement. I don't know, but it feels like there's more to this world, more to these characters and maybe another story (or three or four or even more!) that are happening in this particular corner of the universe....

Thank you for sharing this one with us, and please write some more!

This definitely feels like the first or maybe middle part of something longer, and fundamentally, it's not bad, but -- James, please learn to punctuate!
