You Brilliant Hack You by Seanan McGuire
Tao, you missed one.
I'm busy being brilliant today. Not by choice, mind you; it's just that I realized my whacking great, incomplete novel had a plot hole in it -- a plot hole of a magnitude that threatened to wreck damn near the whole thing.
Serious. So, I'm forced to exercise my brilliance and stitch this huge-assed hole shut so that I don't have to completely trash about half of the 207,000+ words I've got in it.
Really. I've already done major rewrites, and I don't relish them. But I'm overjoyed when I find a flaw like this, because it means that I found it before some random reader did.

I was raised by humans. What's your excuse?
