I just got done reading this, and I may have to come back later with more to say about it.

Right now I can't decide whether to love it or hate it . . . it's like one of those stories that take fifteen minutes to tell and turn out to be an elaborate pun . . .

Okay, Dave, here's the deal -- naming the town ruins the surprise. Once I read the name "Honalee," it was all over. You gave away the punchline.

Seeing it was a "short" story, did he write it on little Jackie Paper?
