Just as a quick note, authors pick settings for a reason. Having lived in the southern NH belt for my formative years, I used to joke that NH consisted of two mini-states: "Northern Mass" up to about the Concord-Durham-Portsmouth belt, and "Southern Maine" north of that. Wellington NH is quite solidly in the rural second part of the state.

I liked this one a lot. The setting and dialog went together to really make me feel the place. Characters were maybe a little stereotyped, but maybe not; I haven't been in that part of the country, but I've heard that the people are like that.
